In a shocking decision, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, led by Lindsey P. Horvath, voted to use taxpayer dollars to defend anti-Israel protesters arrested at UCLA.
Only supervisor Kathryn Barger, who represents the fifth district, opposed.
The county’s Public Defender’s Office is now tasked with representing individuals who openly support groups labeled as terrorist organizations and burned flags.

Biden Threatens to Use His Veto Power to Block Bill to Transfer Military Aid to Israel
Republicans & some Democrats are promoting a bill in Congress that would force the US to transfer the frozen arms shipments to Israel.
The bill will probably be put to vote tomorrow & is expected to pass in the House, but it's a long shot because of the Democrat controlled Senate.
Schumer indicated that he doesn't plan to provide floor time for a vote on Republican legislation.
“The president has already said he’d veto it, so it’s not going anywhere,” he told reporters.
To soften the move in American public opinion, the Biden Admin said it would send Israel aid worth about 1 billion dollars, which would include ammunition for tanks, tactical vehicles & shells.

Jordan Thwarts Iranian Arms Smuggling Plot Aimed at Destabilizing Kingdom
According to a Reuters report: In March, Jordan foiled an attempt to smuggle Iranian weapons into the Kingdom - with the aim of carrying out sabotage operations in the country. Security sources in Jordan reported that the pro-Iranian militias in Syria carried out the smuggling attempt, which was intended for a cell of the Muslim Brotherhood linked to the terrorist organization Hamas. Several Jordanians and Palestinians who were members of the cell were arrested.
The sources noted that at least part of the arms shipment was supposed to be delivered to Judea and Samaria, with the other part going to members of the Muslim Brotherhood cell in Jordan.

USA Surveillance Balloon of the US Led Coalition Against ISIS in Syria Has Either Been Shot Down or Malfunctioned
Coalition aircraft are all over the place.
Conflicting Reports: Reports suggest that Iranian militias targeted the US surveillance balloon that is hovering near (US/Coalition base) Malikiyah (Derik) has been shot down by Iranian militias stationed in the Assad/Iran controlled zone in Qamishlo.
Other sources claim that the balloon suffered a critical mechanical malfunction which caused it to lose altitude and crash.
Right now we can only speculate - we visually do not see any sign of damages that would suggest that the balloon has been shot down. Nor did we know of any report that saw/heard an explosion that would support the claim of the balloon being shot down.
We can also hear in the background of the video that the balloon’s motor continues to run.

Hezbollah took responsibility for sending a number of suicide drones to the "Ilan" base next to Tiberias (50 km).
Hezbollah in a statement claims to have targeted an army base near the Golani Junction, west of Tiberias, and some 35 kilometers from the Lebanon border, with several explosive-laden drones.
