David Closson, a scholar with the Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit think tank Family Research Council (FRC) criticized the recent New Haven Declaration as the latest example of progressives attempting to smuggle in their agenda under the guise of Christianity, while trying to paint Bible-believing Christians as subversives to oust them from the public square.

"This is nothing new," David Closson, who serves as director of the Center for Biblical Worldview at FRC, told The Christian Post. "Over the last couple of years, the boogeyman of Christian nationalism has been raised by folks on the progressive Left, from the Biden campaign to people like Bill Maher. 🚨BREAKING NEWS: Israel Launches Missile Strikes Into Iran in Response to Tehran's Attack Sunday

The Israeli military has conducted missile strikes against Iran, a senior U.S. military official told NPR on Thursday. There are also reports of explosions in Iraq and Syria.

The strikes appear to be the response Israel vowed to carry out after an Iranian attack on Sunday, when Tehran fired hundreds of drones and missiles at Israel. 

Iran's Fars News Agency says explosions were heard in the central city of Isfahan, according to the Reuters News Agency.

Reports of attacks in Isfahan, Iraq and southern Syria. It is possible that some of the explosions that are heard are a leakage of the defense systems. They are trying to get information about the targets in Isfahan - the center of the enrichment program but also projects in the field of drones and missiles.

The extent of Israel's strikes and the weapons used weren't clear.

Iran is trying to broadcast business as usual and claim that there is no damage to the sites on the ground.

In reality, there is very significant damage at the Iranian Air Force base, which is one of the bases from which the Iranian attack was launched last Saturday night.

So…. Let’s summarize the events:
Israel carried a limited attack on Iranian bases from where the Saturday night missiles and drones were launched.
The damage is heavy but hard to see from the ground by civilians.

The only reasons anyone knows about this attack are the loud explosions from the air defense systems.

Israel sent a message:
We are able to attack and hit you hard. Now, let’s see if you will retaliate! If so, your nuclear sites are next.

The scale of the this attack trapped the Iranians. They can’t attack back and they can’t even use Hezbollah to strike hard or-else they will lose them as well.

Iranian media is engaged in a massive propaganda effort to prove that “Nothing happened” in order:

1. Not to admit that they were surprised and unable to stop it
2. Not to have to save face and respond - a move that will escalate the situation.

While all eyes are on Iran the Israeli military is prepared to begin a powerful ground maneuver into Rafah.
