So, whether it's the Lord Shiva (India) or the demon Apophis (Egypt) no matter... they both represent the spirit of evil, darkness, and destruction.

As for Apophis, he not only represented a threat to the deceased but to the gods, Egypt, and the order of the cosmos. Go figure... Coincidence... I THINK NOT!
