Government officials make it clear that the establishment of the port will not require placing American troops on the ground, but that they will be on vessels off the coast of the Gaza Strip.

Hamas steals all the aid. So, what do US Democrats do? They set up a whole port for them to steal as much as they want and announce they won't put troops on the ground to make sure that doesn't happen. Why? Because they want it to happen!!! That way, they can continue to push the anti-Israel propaganda about how they're committing a genocide and starving the people of the region. This also helps them waste more US tax dollars to bankrupt as quicker.
