🚨BREAKING: 3 US Troops Killed, Dozens Wounded in Drone Attack in Jordan in Escalation of Middle East Conflict

In a statement released on Sunday, US Central Command verified that a one-way drone strike that “impacted at a base in Northeast Jordan” overnight on the Tower 22 outpost in Jordan, near the border with Syria resulted in the deaths of 3 service personnel and the injuries of approximately 34 others.

It’s unclear why air defenses failed to intercept the drone, which seems to be the first documented strike on Tower 22 since US and partner soldiers were targeted on October 17. The US soldiers at the outpost are there to advise and support Jordan.

The US Defense Minister said, "The pro-Iranian militias are responsible. We will respond at the time and place of our choosing...we will take all actions necessary to protect the US, our troops and our interests.
