Iran took responsibility on Tuesday for the combined attack in Northern Syria & in Erbil, the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan, & also claimed they attacked the Mossad Headquarters in the Kurdish region of Iraq. Sirens went off in the American consulate in Erbil, Iraq as at least 5 explosions were heard near the building. Reuters said no American facility was attacked & there are no losses among the Americans.

The Israeli Army announced on Monday that its 36th Division (2 Armored Brigades, 1 Engineering Core Brigade, & the Golani Infantry Brigade) would be withdrawn from the Gaza Strip, in the latest indication that the phase of intense warfare in Gaza is drawing to a close after almost three months.
Another indication is the recent announcement by IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Daniel Hagari that he would stop his so-far daily press briefings & instead talk to the public once every 2-3 days.
SIDE NOTE: Once the 36th Division has concluded its well earned few weeks of recovery and rest, the division will return to either Gaza or Israel's Northern Border with Lebanon as needed.
