The Houthis Claim They Are Now Launching Missiles at Coalition Targets in the Red Sea

More than 10 facilities in Yemen that were used to store weapons and train the Houthis were attacked by the US.

An American warship recently intercepted 7 cruise missiles in the Red Sea. All the missiles launched by the Houthis were intercepted by Americans or fell into the sea with no reported casualties or damage to the coalition.

The Houthis say they managed to shoot down a US F-22. Who knows if they are telling the truth or not...

Update: The US Department of Defense Told a Pentagon Reporter: "No American F-22 planes were shot down tonight (called that one), no American warship was hit (notice they didn't say they weren't fired at) and the US embassy in Baghdad was not attacked either."

In a joint statement by the United Kingdom and the United States:

"Our air forces launched attacks against 60 targets in 16 different sites of the Houthis, we used more than 100 guided missiles in the attacks."

Iran's Nuclear Timetable: The Weapon Potential

Iran’s nuclear program has reached the point at which, within three weeks, Iran might be able to enrich enough uranium for five fission weapons. For that uranium to pose a nuclear weapon threat, however, it would have to be processed further, and the other components of a successful weapon would have to be ready to receive the processed uranium. Weaponization activities could take anywhere from several months to a year or more, although the timeframe is uncertain.[1] Some of these activities could be done in parallel with the fissile material production and could take place on a laboratory scale, which would make them difficult to detect.

Iran's ability to enrich uranium quickly has improved with its progress in the testing and deployment of more powerful centrifuge models. Centrifuge performance is measured in separative work units (SWU), which indicates the work required to increase the concentration of the fissionable U-235 isotope. Iran has installed several cascades of these models in production lines where they have steadily increased both the size and enrichment level of Iran's uranium stockpile.

This progress increases the risk of secret sites – permitting them to be smaller and easier to hide. Iran has used such sites to carry out illicit activity in the past and they continue to pose the greatest nuclear weapon risk. That risk has increased further because of Iran’s decisions to limit inspections by the IAEA.
