California is testing, Iowa is launching, and Michigan is considering legislation related to mobile driver’s licenses.  These states are planning to join Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Hawaii, Ohio, Utah, and Maryland in offering mDLs.

This has been part of the plan all along and the process sped up during CONVID. They even tell you in this hearing! It's always under the guise of "safety".

The digital IDs are the next installment of slavery and a key component before installing CBDC's full bore and most people cannot see it.
