Two African American faith leaders say despite the perception of many that the black Church has been silent in defense of Israel amid its war with Hamas, they and other black pastors are speaking out and refuting claims that Israel is a racist, apartheid state.

The Ukraine war is almost entirely a case of the United States – or more particularly, the narrow group of American elites which benefit from NATO expansion – going abroad looking for trouble and getting it.

Israeli and US armed forces reportedly carried out separate airstrikes targeting Iranian-backed groups in Syria within hours of each other on Wednesday, killing a total of 12 fighters.

Syrian state media said Israeli air strikes hit military sites in southern Syria, causing material damage.

“At approximately 22:50 pm today, the Israeli enemy carried out an air attack from the direction of Baalbek in Lebanon, targeting some military points in the southern region, causing some material losses,” official news agency SANA said, quoting a military source.

Brazil Nabs Suspected Hezbollah Operatives Said Planning Attacks on Jewish Targets

SAO PAULO, Brazil — The Brazilian Federal Police, working in cooperation with Israeli intelligence agencies, says it has disrupted a suspected domestic terror plot against Israeli and Jewish targets believed to be in its initial stages.

Federal investigators said Tuesday that they had uncovered a scheme allegedly involving the recruitment of Brazilian citizens by the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah, an Iranian proxy, to orchestrate attacks against members of the 120,000-strong Brazilian Jewish community.

The intended targets reportedly included synagogues.

In a Wednesday expose, the media watchdog Honest Reporting questioned why Gaza photojournalists who freelance for CNN, The Associated Press, The New York Times and Reuters appeared to be at the border early in the morning before the attack.

Civilians wounded in anti-tank guided missile attack from Lebanon

Several civilians are wounded in an anti-tank guided missile attack from Lebanon, the military says.

The missile struck a number of civilian vehicles near the northern community of Dovev, close to the border.

Their conditions are not immediately clear.

The IDF says it is responding with artillery shelling toward the source of the missile fire.
