Defense Minister Yoav Gallant says Israel has “moved to a new phase” in the war against Hamas, after ground forces pushed into Gaza & the military bombarded terror targets in the Strip overnight.

“The earth in Gaza shook,” Gallant is quoted saying in a statement from his office.

“We attacked above ground & below ground, we attacked terror operatives of all ranks, in all places. The commands to the forces are clear: The operation will continue until a new order.”
He adds: “Regarding other areas, we are preparing to defend Israeli citizens, to safeguard their security. We are doing this in the north, the center and everywhere.”

Israeli Forces Continue Ground Operations Eliminating Terrorists in the Northern Gaza Strip

Air force aircraft directed by IDF forces attacked military buildings of the terrorist organization Hamas, some of which were terrorists of the organization. In addition, anti-tank positions, observation posts and military infrastructure were attacked.

The forces eliminated terrorists who shot at the forces as well as terrorists identified along the coastline in the Zikim area in the Gaza Strip.

Though police could be seen arresting at least three individuals on the tarmac outside the plane, the officers did not initially intervene, according to Boruch Gorin, a spokesperson for Russia Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar.
