Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday called for the opposition to join an emergency unity government, outlined Israel’s battle plan against Hamas terror, likened the group to the Islamic State group, or ISIS, and warned of more “difficult days ahead” for the battered and bleeding nation.

🔴 Dozens of Israeli Air Force jets struck over 70 targets belonging to Palestinian terror group Hamas in the Gaza Strip, the military says.

The targets are hit in the Gaza City district of At-Tuffah, in the northeast of the city.

The military says the area served as a “terrorist nest” for Hamas and a center from which it carried out operations against Israel.

Earlier, the first transport plane with “advanced” American ammunition landed at the Nevatim airbase in southern Israel.

The IDF said the ammunition is intended “to enable significant strikes and preparations for additional scenarios.”

The death toll from Palestinian terror group Hamas’s shock attack on Israel on Saturday has surpassed 1,000, with close to 3,000 injured and the fate of an estimated 150 people abducted and taken to the Gaza Strip still unclear.
