STEVE'S TAKE: Before anyone starts getting too excited and starts screaming yaaaahhh "we're winning" like we so often hear from weak, misleading, imbecile "Republicans" (In Name Only) today, keep in mind, all this means is that the J6 defendants can't get both a prison sentence and probation related to a misdemeanor. Also, there is "potential for the Department of (In)Justice to challenge the decision.

These corrupt tyrannical pricks should never have been dishing out punishment that included prison time and probation for supposed said misdemeanors to begin with!

So, again, if anyone thinks this is "a victory", you are sadly mistaken. This is in no way of victory. It's merely a slight turn back towards "normalcy".

Yes, if you're one of the 80 defendants who were handed “split sentences”, which combine jail time with probation for minor crimes, then you'll surely be happy about this for obvious reasons but even still, " many of these individuals have completed their incarceration, the decision is expected to shape upcoming sentences."

So, maybe they could have just had probation instead of being incarcerated should these tyrants have not improperly ruled on their sentences to begin with or maybe they already were incarcerated and are serving probation as we speak and they still will have to continue to do so even though this ruling says they're not supposed to because this only affects upcoming cases.

Either way, J6ers are still being charged with crimes they didn't commit and when they plead innocent are having other misdemeanors and felonies falsely lumped on to their pre-existing politically motivated manufactured sentences which in turn increases their prison time.

This whole debacle is an overstep of their boundaries and a violation of the law with made up crimes charged under false pretences.
