On Thursday, GOP Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed a bill into law that would protect women’s sports at the collegiate level from biological male athletes who identify as transgender women.

The law, S.B. 15, known as the “Save Women’s Sports Act,” requires athletes at the college level to compete in sports that align with their biological sex instead of their “gender identity.” This legislation will go into effect in September and allows individuals to sue institutions that allow transgender athletes to compete on teams that align with their gender identity.

On June 13th, the #Biden administration @POTUS (Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, #CFIUS) approved the controversial plan of #China's #Gotion High-Tech to build a large EV battery factory in #Michigan, on the basis that Gotion is not a "foreign entity of concern". Is it really the case? My exclusive discovery tells a different story.
The project has an investment of $2.4 billion, and Gotion will receive a grant of $175 million from American taxpayers, along with a 30-year, $540 million tax incentive.

A jury has found the man charged with killing 11 people at a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, synagogue in 2018 guilty of all 63 federal charges leveled against him.

In a decision announced Friday, 50-year-old Robert Bowers was found guilty of 11 counts of obstructing the exercise of religious beliefs resulting in death, one count of willfully causing bodily injury due to actual or perceived religion resulting in death and 11 counts of using a firearm to commit murder in relation to a violent crime.

The court will reconvene on June 26 for the trial's penalty phase, with Bowers facing the possibility of being sentenced to death or life in prison.
