STEVE'S TAKE: This is a lawsuit in the making and an absolute violation of this man's 1st Amendment right to freedom of speech and religion. Nobody should ever allow any "officer of the law" to infringe on their rights and arrest them. They don't have the ability to even detain you if you have done nothing wrong. Their sole purpose is to enforce the law. If they're violating your rights, then they're breaking the law and by default are domestic enemy combatants not law enforcement.

Additionally, public sidewalks are open to the public and as long as you're not blocking them and people can get by you have a right to be there and to speak freely and even hold signs in protest.
