⚡️ Foreign Ministry statement on the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant by the Ukrainian armed forces

We strongly condemn the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant by the Ukrainian armed forces that has led to a devastating humanitarian and environmental disaster.

Bombing the dam has led to a significant rise in the water level downstream of the Dnieper River. Entire neighbourhoods were flooded, and thousands of people had to be evacuated. The evacuation is already underway.

This act of sabotage by the Kiev regime has caused devastating damage to the farmland in the region and the ecosystem at the mouth of the Dnieper River. The inevitable drop in the water level of the Kakhovka reservoir will affect Crimea’s water supply, and will hinder the improvement of agricultural land in the Kherson region.

This is a terrorist act directed against purely civilian infrastructure. It was planned in advance by the Kiev regime for military purposes as part of the Ukraine forces’ “counteroffensive.” The Kiev regime not only launched mass artillery attacks against the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, but also deliberately brought the water level in the Kakhovka reservoir to a critical level by opening the Dneprovsk Hydroelectric Power Plant’s floodgates.

The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case on this act of terrorism that has led to significant property damage and other grave consequences.

☝️ The Russian side will initiate a discussion for considering this crime by the Kiev regime in the UN Security Council, the statutory and decision-making bodies of the OSCE and other international organisations.

❗️ We call on the international community to condemn the criminal acts committed by the Ukrainian authorities, which are becoming increasingly inhumane and pose a major threat to regional and global security.

There was a mass shooting in Richmond today, after a high school graduation, killing two and injuring five, but it didn't even make a blip on the mainstream media which means the shooter is obviously black. They don't want be perpetuating any "stereotypes" or anything.

At precisely 8:20 AM on June 7, 1944, my Grandfather Fernando Baldassari's ship the U.S.S. Susan B. Anthony (AP-72) was sunk off the coast of Normandy, France by a mine while cruising through a swept English channel with all 2,689 people aboard being saved.

If it weren't for them being saved, I wouldn't be here today.

My Grandfather also served in the invasions of Sicily, North Africa, and the Philippine Islands.

My Father Paul Baldassari had this to say about it, "My Dad Fernando Baldassari from Boston, MA. was on the Susan B. He was on the anti-aircraft guns. Later he participated in the invasion of the Philippine Islands on the U.S.S. Estes after the Susan B. went down.

He was always very proud of his service in WWII. He passed away on 1/11/2005. He raised 9 of us 7 boys and 2 girls. I am a Vietnam Veteran and also my brother, my older brother David is a Korean War Veteran, and another brother (Michael) was in the National Guard for 6 yrs. I miss him and his stories. God Bless you Daddio!"

⏺The former head of NATO said that the alliance could send troops to Ukraine.

According to Anders Rasmussen, this will happen if NATO member states, including the United States, do not provide Kiev with real security guarantees at the July 15 summit in Vilnius.
