Looks like the “Restrict Act” smokescreen being used to possibly ban TikTok would also ban Telegram, cuz this is a “Russian” app, and the law would not only ban TikTok, but any app from a country demeed a hostile adversary. Would also prevent banned websites from being hosted in Russia, so if Infowars gets rejected by most hosts and found one in Russia, then that would be a crime. Technically Telegram is registered to an LLC in Dubai, but you know they would claim it’s Russian.
