Storm-Battered Dam Could COLLAPSE “AT ANY TIME” - Chinese Army warns
A huge dam near the Chinese city of Louyang - population 7 million - may not hold out much longer, after being pounded by Henan province’s horrific storms that have reportedly killed three people - although the death toll is vague and expected to be much higher.
There has already been a 20-meter breach in the Yihetan dam, with provincial authorities reporting $11mn damage to farmland, 10k people evacuated and 16 reservoirs now at “dangerous” levels.

The death toll is not yet known but live imagery trending on Chinese social media shows the extent of the situation.
