The measurements of the New Jerusalem given in Revelation 21:13-19 are truly amazing in size! The Bible says the square base of the city is 1,500 miles long by 1,500 miles wide, covering a total area of 2-1/4 million square miles! It will reach 1,500 miles high into space!

That's nearly 273 times higher than Mount Everest which at it's tallest peak is 29,029 feet [5.5 miles] high!

Why do you think Jesus said, "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." - John 14:3

It's because when he rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven, he went to prepare "a place" (New Jerusalem) for us. Eventually, He will be coming back to Earth with the New Jerusalem so we can live with Him and Him with us in perfect harmony (as it should be)!

The world who has been conditioned to believe in aliens and anything else but God will not be knowledgeable about what The Bible prophesied and so they'll probably see this go down and think it's an alien invasion!
