Hillary Clinton Gets a Job as a Professor at Ivy League Columbia University

The former secretary of state and presidential candidate will join Manhattan’s Columbia University as a professor focusing on (get this) "global affairs", the school announced Thursday.

Clinton will “work closely with Dean Keren Yarhi-Milo and other senior faculty and administrators on a variety of major initiatives, especially those focusing on global (indoctrination) politics and policy and on supporting female leaders (AKA Feminazis) in those arenas” in her position with the SIPA, according to an email sent by university president Lee Bollinger. She will also work with CWP leadership “to support PROGRAMMING related to renewing "Democracy" (AKA spreading Communism and Islam) and advancing efforts for effective engagement (AKA effective brainwashing) of women and youth in this country and around the world.”

STEVE'S TAKE: Everyone asks the same questions. Everybody offers the same answers. It makes me tired and I cannot help but notice that some of this debate seems to be straying onto my turf.

Good theology requires rigorous thought. In this case, I think it might be helpful to tease out two things too often confused. There is prayer as a response to tragedy, and there is prayer as a substitute for action.

For example, I say, "Christians of today would march around Jericho and blow the Shofar as God commanded them in the days of old but they'd never run over the rubble and storm Jericho and/or light the city on fire to take the city."

That's the best metaphor I can think of using to explain the cowardous and inaction of prayer only Christians these days.

Of course, this always upsets your average Christians even though the Bible has the following to say on the matter in James 2:26 - For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

This is not a new or original insight. The prophets of the Bible always reserved their richest scorn for the practice of piety in the absence of justice.

My Christian faith teaches me that if my prayers serve to distract me from the good that I could do, it would have been better for me not to pray at all. That might sound alarming at first read but hear me out...

Peter and the apostles summarize this all rather nicely in Acts 5:29 when they say, "We must obey God rather than men."

If our society drifts away from God and we're only willing to pray but never willing to take a stand for what's right and be thrown in a lion's den or a jail cell or even lose our lives for what we believe in, then we must ask ourselves, do we really believe or are we just kidding ourselves?

James 1:22 says, - But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

I see all these prayer vigils for the J6 prisoners and I can't help but think of Matthew 6:1-2 which says 1 "Beware of practicing your piety before men in order to be seen by them; for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. 2 "Thus, when you give alms, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by men.

If we're going to have an honest conversation, then isn't that what so many (not all) "well-meaning" people out there are really looking for, praise from their fellow man?

I don't say that to be over dramatic, over-bearing, or over critical. I'm simply trying to inspire people to truly practice the faith and to truly BELIEVE! We all could afford to practice what we preach more. Wouldn't you agree?

Believe in Jesus first and foremost but also believe in yourselves! Too often "believers" and non-believers alike live in fear of the corrupt powers that be that try to keep them from taking back this world from the grasp of the evil one. Fear is a weapon of Satan that enslaves more than any other. Do not fear! Be free!

2 Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Why would The Bible say that there is a time for war at all if we are never to fight as Christians because the battle is the Lords?

War is the result of sin. Right now, the sinfulness of our society stenches to the high heavens. The forces of darkness are the ones who make the war. It's up to us as God's Warriors to win it when they do!

Sometimes war is the wrong thing. Again, as the Bible says, "There is a time for war and there is a time for peace." The Bible is very realistic about this. There are many, many examples in the Bible where God commanded a war, where God said, "Go to war!" When you look at the great heroes of the faith in Hebrews 11 - Joshua, David, Gideon, Samson - these guys were all warriors. When you look at the Bible you find that sometimes war was the right thing to do.
