Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 have been sabotaged. That's why gas pressures dropped to zero. Conflicting reports on who sabotaged them, but it could be either the USA or Russia, BOTH have motivations for doing so.

Both pipelines will be out of commission for an extended period of time. This puts Western Europe on its last legs in terms of possible routes for natural gas imports well into 2023. The continent is just one more pipeline shutdown away from something so far beyond mere catastrophe... it would be a humanitarian crisis we've never seen, watching a first world nation be plunged into third world status virtually overnight.

Denmark has ordered energy companies to strengthen security around their facilities after the discovery of the suspicious leaks on gas pipelines that have been at the centre of the energy crisis between Russia and Europe.

While everyone is focusing on the alleged sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines, TODAY, the Baltic Pipe was inaugurated at an opening ceremony in Goleniów, Poland.

The event marks the end of the process of the Baltic Pipe construction, a key route to carry gas from Norway through Denmark to Poland and neighbouring countries.

The pipeline will be able to carry 10 billion cubic metres (bcm) of gas annually from Norway to Poland and to transport 3 bcm of gas from Poland to Denmark.

Gas transmission is planned for the 1st of October 2022.
