The protesters, algined with the Liberal UCR and with Centre-right Parties & Movements like Mauricio Macri's JxC demanded the resignation of Argentinean Progressive President Alberto Fernandez over its renewed failures to try to end the inflationary crisis, lower the cost of living and, above all, the Argentine debt issue

It is worth remembering that given recent events, both the social factions more to the Argentine Right, Peronist Orthodox Sectors and groups more to the Argentine left (generally of a Trotskyist inclination) have become increasingly dissatisfied with the Argentine Government having a friendly approach to the IMF.

Explosion and Fire at Natural Gas Plant in Oklahoma

Authorities and firefighters have been on the scene of an explosion and fire at the ONEOK natural gas plant south of Medford, Oklahoma.

The gas plant fire began Saturday afternoon after an explosion of unknown origin in Medford and has caused evacuations and road closures.

All residents within a two-mile radius of the plant have been asked to evacuate to the Medford public school building via a Facebook post.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
