As people hide baskets full of annoying grass and eat chocolate bunnies and tell each other “happy Easter”, I pray that the procedure and customary salutations and gatherings will not take away from the greatest sacrifice in human history.
Today, every time you see a marshmallow peep or attend a dinner or see a man in a bunny costume or peel a painted egg, I pray that we will be reminded of that sacrifice, and the miracle that followed that saved all of humanity from its sin.
The death, the burial and the resurrection.
Im so thankful for God’s grace, I’m overfilled with His love and in awe of his power.
Jesus lives. He is risen. Christ is King, Jesus Christ is LORD! ✝️🙏🏼🙌🏼
