Ray Skyler, a first grade teacher at Brooke Roslindale School, recently announced to the students in kindergarten, first and second grade that she is transgender. Skyler is a biological female who “identifies” as a male. She was born and raised as a girl. Yet, at the age of 18, she began to view herself as a man trapped inside a woman’s body. For some twisted reason, Skyler felt the need to discuss this very intimate, complicated, and deeply inappropriate private matter to young, impressionable school children.
