قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
[ مَنْ قَاتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فُوَاقَ نَاقَةٍ فَقَدْ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ وَمَنْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ الْقَتْلَ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ صَادِقًا ثُمَّ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ فَإِنَّ لَهُ أَجْرَ شَهِيدٍ. ]
حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ رَوَاهُ أبو داود.
فُوَاقَ نَاقَةٍ = مِقدار الوقتِ بينَ الحَلْبَتَيْنِ.
The prophet (PBUH) said,
"If anyone fights in Allah's path as long as the time between two milkings of a she-camel, Paradise will be assured for him. If anyone sincerely asks Allah for being killed and then dies or is killed, there will be a reward of a martyr for him."

السَّاقَةُ = مُؤخِّرةُ الجَيشِ.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"Paradise is for a servant who holds the reins of his horse to strive in Allah's Cause, with his hair unkempt and feet covered with dust: if he is appointed in the vanguard, he is perfectly satisfied with his post of guarding, and if he is appointed in the rearward, he accepts his post with satisfaction; (he is so simple and unambiguous that) if he asks for permission he is not permitted, and if he intercedes, his intercession is not accepted."

The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"Paradise is for a servant who holds the reins of his horse to strive in Allah's Cause, with his hair unkempt and feet covered with dust: if he is appointed in the vanguard, he is perfectly satisfied with his post of guarding, and if he is appointed in the rearward, he accepts his post with satisfaction; (he is so simple and unambiguous that) if he asks for permission he is not permitted, and if he intercedes, his intercession is not accepted."

[ أَلا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بليلةٍ أفضلَ من ليلةِ القدرِ؟ حارِسُ الحَرَسِ في أرضِ خَوْفٍ لعلَّهُ ألّا يرجعَ إلى أهلِهِ. ]
حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ رَوَاهُ النَسائي.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"Shall I not inform you of a night better than Laylat Al-Qadr? A guard in a land of fear, perhaps not returning to his family."

Uqabah Ben Amir narrated, I heard the prophet (PBUH) recite when he was on the pulpit
"Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power. Beware, strength is shooting, beware strength is shooting, beware strength is shooting."

Abdallah Ben Abi Awfa narrated that the prophet (PBUH) invoked a curse on the polytheists at the battle of the Confederates, saying,
"O Allah, who hast sent down the Book and quick- taker of reckoning; O Allah, defeat the Confederates, shake them."

But I could not find the resources to give them mounts and they could not find the resources to follow me, nor would they be pleased to stay behind if I went."

[ لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُقَاتِلَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ الْيَهُودَ فَيَقْتُلُهُمُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ ، حَتَّى يَخْتَبِئَ الْيَهُودِيُّ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحَجَرِ وَالشَّجَرِ فَيَقُولُ الْحَجَرُ أَوِ الشَّجَرُ: يَا مُسْلِمُ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ هَذَا يَهُودِيٌّ خَلْفِي فَتَعَالَ فَاقْتُلْهُ. إِلاَّ الْغَرْقَدَ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ شَجَرِ الْيَهُودِ. ]
رَوَاهُ مُسلِم.
The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"The Last Hour will not come until the Muslims fight against the Jews, until a Jew will hide himself behind a stone or a tree, and the stone or the tree will say: 'O Muslim, there is a Jew behind me. Come and kill him,' but Al-Gharqad tree will not say so, for it is the tree of the Jews."
Narrated by Muslim.
