The first pill designed to treat symptomatic Covid has been approved by the UK medicines regulator.

Molnupiravir is the first oral antiviral treatment for Covid to report clinical trial results.

The tablet - molnupiravir - will be given twice a day to vulnerable patients recently diagnosed with the disease.

In clinical trials the pill, originally developed to treat flu, cut the risk of hospitalisation or death by about half.

UK Health Secretary Sajid Javid said the treatment was a "gamechanger" for the most frail and immunosuppressed.

በህክምና ፣ ነርሲንግ ፣ ጤና መኮንን ፣ ፋርማሲ ፣ ሜዲካል ላብራቶሪ ቴክኖሎጂ፣ ሚድዋይፈሪ፣ አንስቴዥያ፣ ዴንታል ሜድስን እና ሜዲካል ራዲዮሎጂ ቴክኖሎጂ ሙያዎች ተመርቀው የጤና ሚኒስቴር የሚሰጠውን የብቃት ምዘና ፈተና ለመውሰድ ለተመዘገቡ የጤና ባለሙያዎች ፈተናው የሚሰጠው ከታህሳስ 21-27/2014 ዓ.ም ድረስ መሆኑን ጤና ሚኒስቴር ገልጿል።

ሚኒስቴሩ ፥ ተፈታኞች አስፈላጊውን ዝግጅት እንዲያደርጉ አሳስቦ የፈተናውን ፕሮግራም በቅርብ ቀን እንደሚያሳውቅ ገልጿል።

• ስያስሉ እና ሲያስነጥሱ አፍ እና አፍንጫዎን በክንድዎ/በጨርቅ ይሸፍኑ
• መንግስት በነፃ ያቀረበውን የኮሮና ክትባትን ይውሰዱ
