Broadway and Stapley QT Gas Station Voter Registration drive today:
One lady sat on side of pickup window doing the "Let's Go Brandon" over & over haha
Lots of honks & thumbs up, positive comments
and a couple "Biden has nothing to do with gas prices" or "thumbs down"
Sadly, since we had no access allowed to the pump area of the station, we got Zero Voter Registrations...
As we broke it down to leave, a radio station guy came buy and took pictures - said will have story next week - will keep you updated!
Next weekend will be at a station that allows it :)
HOPEFULLY more volunteers to help!
HUGE thank you to John in Phx who drove all the way to Mesa to help (and refused to let me pay gas $$ to him for it)

TOMORROW, Apr 4th, there are a slate of bills (9) coming up for hearing in Arizona.

Get on the RTS and make your voice heard. My views may differ from yours, so the link to bills is included for your own review to decide yes/no/neutral votes.

You can find the details with links to each bill and plain English breakdown here. There are tabs for each day, and you can use the filter on top to find particular subjects of interest to you (Elections, Health, Education) if you are short on time and need to only do the ones that are your hot topic focus.

Lots of striker bills, be sure to make your voice heard on RTS. You must have your RTS activated at the Capital before first use to vote on bills. If you have not done so, and it's difficult for you to get there, we will do so for you. Click here to send information required to get you activated.

Utah has a strong legislature - but more work needs to be done. It was good to see the Utah legislature veto override vote expose two RINOs.

To be clear on AFPP's position with regard to transgenderism: We don't have a position on any individual decision any person makes with respect to themselves.

We do, however, take a strong position on gender marginalization and cheating: Which is exactly the result of inserting strong masculine-testosterone-anatomically male competitors into Female Sports.

Video Activism Training Summary:
We want to thank https://www.freedomworks.org/ and @Merissa_Hamilton at EZAZ.org for the webinar training today. It was concise and informative. Here are some tips that could help you improve your chances of your video message influencing YOUR representatives in Congress:

1. For best effect, keep them short, 1min to 1.5min maximum.
2. Always film horizontal format (like a TV) and 1920x1080 (HD) if possible.
3. Your face should be highlighted and roughly centered.
4. Bright lights in front of you are best, daylight outside is good also.
5. Camera eye level and at least a few feet from your face.
6. Research a few facts about the person you’re addressing to use.
7. Listing your location is good, unless you’re not in their district.
8. Make a one paragraph script, such as the following, and email to the rep/senator and also a few other activist and then post to social media:
“Dear Senator X,
My name is (your name), I live in (you’re city and state) and I think it’s a mistake to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court because of her wavering views on interpretation of the constitution of the United States. At your recent event (X) at (location X) you stated that you supported strict interpretation of the constitution and KBJ has clearly said she does not when she said (site example). How do you explain this Senator? I insist you vote no, the people of your state insist you vote no, and you yourself said you would vote no for a candidate that says what she has. Thank you.”

Had the opportunity again this week to join the AZ Victory Update:

Chairwoman Kelly Ward:
- Party is going strong, Jerimiah is here, great meeting over weekend, election integrity portion was stellar, the reason we have to do elect integrity work was covered, open house went well also checking out the new digs and great front facing view to the world about who we are and what we do - people come in all the time saying they want to volunteer

Jerimiah:
- Great weekend, hope everyone enjoyed the new office as well, this week is our fire drill for political side of things, Monday was last day to qualify for the ballot, we as a party are looking at all the requirements and checking for vulnerable dems and to keep our Rs on the ballot. If you have a candidate who may need help, let us know (there's on that is on the line) - reach out if that is the case.
- Now that we know who is ballot qualified, we will send email to all the campaigns - surveying them to see what platform they are using - #1 priority is to use campaign sidekick - they used it in VA - that is our big push this cycle - Victory team is here to offer Campaign sidekick training. We are also rolling out what is called candidate portal - one stop shop for all republican candidates, get winred, campaign sidekick, training - we want to roll out to everyone - lots of new candidates out there; Senate to school board races. no date on rollout yet - but we're diligently working on it - look for more info on that soon - our shop if you haven't gone to azgopshop, we have a place to get merchandise - it is on our website azgop store

Kelly Ward asks for pithy sayings (Christy.donnell@azgop.org UNSURE OF SPELLING OF NAME/EMAIL) as we're always looking for things that can go viral.

Chris Escobedo:
- follow azgop twitter - best coms team in the biz
- What the victory team is focused on now - we're moving to voter contact and get out the vote - we offer it to everyone - use it - we want everyone on same platform - that was done in Virginia - school boards/governor etc very important we all use same platform/data etc
- Voter registration for March: Maricopa county - we continue to outpace Dem's in registration. We're seeing it in other counties as well, including Dems changing to Rep - seeing at gas stations etc. Very important for us to be at these events, gas stations, gun stores, organizing our own registration drives. GOPvictory.com Mon April 11 in Scottsdale, one in east valley Apr 27 at AZ Free Enterprise club! will get on site once we get it confirmed. We are focusing on training our volunteers and party with the tools they need including registration.
- AZ victory team at Assyrian event on Sunday - we registered 22 new R voters - half were walk-aways that voted D before and a lot of new folks. We need to be out at events and engage in the community. Let us know about big events in your area and we can help.
- Data director travelling to DC today - this past week we knocked on 17k doors on campaign sidekick - we know talking to neighbors is the best way to get out the vote. TY all so much, if you want training, let us know - we are happy to come out.
- We want our LDs to be self-sufficient on campaign side kick
- We had 14 trainings and meetings last week - over 200 people
- Weekend of action - April 22-24 - we are holding trainings, volunteer recruitment, Toni Sanchez’s main focus recruiting poll watchers/workers/observers - Ward has been our champion there - we need as many eyes as possible

Q (comment) : as a school board member those petitions do not have to be filed until June/July - so you can still get petitions signed for those.
A: yes, ty for that - use campaign sidekick for that to get out the vote for them also.

SUBSCRIBER ONLY article

Kimberly Cockrell estimates her students have earned more than 1,100 college credits in her Advanced Placement history classes.

But she worries that if Arizona lawmakers pass bills targeting lessons on race and racism, students could lose this opportunity, something the teacher of more than 20 years calls "tragic."

As state legislatures debate banning so-called "critical race theory" from schools, the nonprofit that oversees Advanced Placement classes recently reminded teachers what the program stands for, including opposition to censorship of any kind. Educators say the message is clear: If learning material is censored, certain classes could lose their AP certification.

Critical race theory is an academic concept about the effects of racism on society that is not taught at the K-12 level, but the term has been popularized as a catch-all phrase for equity programs and teaching about racism.

^^^ Love that last paragraph of propaganda...

How many children could you have saved?

Since the pandemic, we all seem to know a child (maybe several children) who are visibly suffering depression and isolation. A friend recently admitted her 7th grader still wears his mask in school and has developed anxiety, but that’s mild compared to many examples Suzy Weiss gives in her story below. Anorexia, suicide, and severe depression are out of control (and it’s not like it wasn’t a huge problem in 2019). And how many of these children will take their own life in the next decade?

Federal, State, County, City, and School Board bureaucrats muzzled our children, hampered their education, and destroyed their social life. Well intentioned or not, but Summer 2020 there was enough evidence to say covid posed less danger to children than crossing the street and any lock downs/mandates after that were deliberately harming kids.
But what can any of us do about it? The answer is plenty, and it’s more local than you might think. You don’t have to be a US senator, but what if you were on the board of your school? What if most of the board members put the children’s wellbeing first? But we can’t stand up to the (pick a body of useless bureaucrats that don’t care about your kids) people say, but why not? The most they could do is close the school. However, a well-meaning group of involved parents, teachers, and board members could get together and do whatever the hell they want as patriotic citizens. Why couldn’t your teacher announce, “we have to do remote learning, which I think is total bullshit, and I’ll be zooming it from the public park across the street from the school from 9AM to 2PM with cookies and soccer balls; tune in live if you want.”

And what if just a hand full of us were more ambitious and ran for city council, or board of supervisor, or mayor of a small town? Plenty of towns stood up for kids during covid, and yours can too.

Covid won’t be the last excuse the government uses to ignore the welfare of our children. Being an active parent is good but get just a little more active in your kid’s life, in their education, and in the local political scene. If you’re reading this, the chances are you’re smarter, more levelheaded, and more well-meaning that most people in those positions, if you only apply yourself, you can replace them. And how many children will you save from suicide the next time a politician over-reacts?

The Maricopa County Republican Committee has opened early-bird tickets sales for their annual MCRC "Lincoln Luncheon" - Early Bird price for a seat is $175.00, which is fairly above average for these kinds of events.

I would have expected it to be more in the $125-150 range depending on venue and speaker (Early-bird PC cost is $125.00). Post-Scamdemic costs for venues, combined with Let's Go Brandonomics, have skewed event costs upward, hence the ~20% cost increase.

I believe Dinesh has contributed greatly to our understanding of how the election fraud was orchastrated, engineered, and perpetrated against the American People. This event is worth attending if you are interested in hearing him in person, meeting a cross-section of Precinct Committeemen from across the county, and eating over-priced buffet food delivered to your table of ten strangers by swarms of highly-efficient wait staff. (Can you tell I am not a conference lover?)

AFPP.RED will be sending at least one member of our staff to the event. If you would like to know more, here is the official release from MCRC:

We are very excited to announce that best-selling author and award-winning filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza will be the guest speaker at the Maricopa County Republican Committee’s annual Lincoln Day Luncheon on Saturday, May 21.

The annual luncheon is our premier event at which we honor our Precinct Committeemen and party leaders from across Maricopa County for their contributions to achieve MCRC goals. The luncheon will be held at the McCormick Ranch resort in Scottsdale.

We really need to PRIMARY THESE 3!!!!

The United States Senate on Thursday voted to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson as the 116th Justice of the United States Supreme Court. All Democrats in the Senate voted to confirm Biden's SCOTUS nominee, joined by three Republicans: Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Mitt Romney of Utah.
