ATLANTA (WSAV) – Vernon Jones is withdrawing from the race for Georgia governor to instead run for U.S. Congress, the former Democrat announced Monday.
He is throwing his support behind former U.S. Sen. David Perdue for the Republican nomination against incumbent Gov. Brian Kemp.

As of Monday night, The Ambassador Bridge has been blockaded by Based Truckers 🚚🚜🇺🇸
The last time the bridge closed for a protest was in 1990. Travelers have been told by MIDOT to use the tunnel instead, or reroute north to Sarnia. However, Sarnia may not be an option since truckers have been protesting at that border entrance, as well. 😏
As a small note, keep in mind that these blockades will disrupt food and shipment supplies and have ripple effects in the long run. Be mindful of your resources and remain thankful for those who are standing in the gap for our liberties. Freedom is not free or comfortable. Never forget that.

The Ambassador Bridge that connects Windsor, Ontario to Detroit, Michigan has been completely blockaded by a convoy of trucks protesting the COVID-19 vaccine mandates, which remains ongoing in Canada’s capital city of Ottawa.
Efforts by the Freedom Convoy further in the north spilled over to the border crossing, the largest international suspension bridge and a major transportation artery between the United States and Canada as protesters blocked traffic on Monday evening.
