โผ๏ธTrump said Ukraine should โstop destroying diesel fuel in Russiaโ:
โMr. Zelensky should do one thing. He should stop destroying diesel fuel in Russia. Let him attack other targets, but not diesel fuel, because he is causing a shortage of diesel fuel. This is not caused by the Middle East. It is caused by what is happening between Russia and Ukraine. So we have spoken about this with Mr. Zelensky. There are plenty of other targets. Donโt hit diesel fuel, because it hurts the whole world. We donโt want him to hit diesel fuel.โ

As Americans struggle to pay for basic necessities like gas and food, the Pentagon just announced that through an "accounting error" it "accidentally" paid Volodymyr Zelenskyy an Extra $6.2 billion of your tax dollars.
The mistake was in how the weapons were priced on paper.
It does not mean the Pentagon had an extra $6.2 billion in cash, nor that Ukraine received an extra $6.2 billion in weapons. It was primarily an accounting and authority-limit error.
So, lets say the U.S. sends Ukraine a missile, it's price was $6 million. But, the Pentagon mistakenly accounts it at $10 million.
The Pentagonโs records made it look as if the U.S. had given away $10 million of equipment, when it had only given $6 million in book value. Therefore, $4-mill was incorrectly deducted.
Ukraine did not received more weapons than accounted for, and it did not received less.
Ukraine received the same number of missile either way.
Budget-wise, if say the limit was $100 billion and the Pentagon mistakenly recorded $10 billion of equipment, when the correct value was $6 billion, officials might think only $90 billion is remaining. In reality, about $94 billion is remaining.
Because of this error, the U.S. could send additional equipment to Ukraine without Congress immediately providing a larger drawdown limit.
