Dear Network,
We hope that you, your families and loved ones are safe. As many of you, we are extremely worried about the situation between Russia and Ukraine. An unprecedented crisis is arising, affecting our Locals, our members, and by extension, our Network.
With the best interest of our members and Locals in mind, we have decided that we should refocus our efforts from the European Planning Meeting that was supposed to start today, to our members and showing our solidarity and stance of AEGEE-Europe in regards to these developments. That means the European Planning Meeting is cancelled until further notice. The Strategy Committee and ComitΓ© Directeur will re-evaluate in the future on how to approach the drafting of the Action Agenda.
We see the need to position ourselves clearly for our values, however, we would like to assure you that we are extremely aware of the situation of Russian Locals and do not wish for any harm to come upon them. That is why currently we are in contact or trying to contact all of our Russian and Ukrainian Locals in order to see how we can support them and take a strategic, well thought out approach, while making sure that whatever happens, we do our absolute best to protect everyone involved.
This is the moment we as a Network stand together and show our support to our friends and members in need. For those that donβt know, an interest group is a group of AEGEE members that share a common interest, and organises thematic activities or supports activities of other bodies of AEGEE in regard to a certain interest or thematic field.

We come across insinuations of sex every day in the songs we listen to, the movies and series we watch and in our relationships. For something so present, we barely discuss it in-depth and with Amsterdam being known for its different view towards sex with our red-light district, this city is the perfect place to start our journey in becoming more aware. Sex is an important emotion that has biological, psychological and social explanations. We can look at science, our society and our different views to become more aware of our norms and values.
This weekend youβll participate in workshops to learn about the red light district and sexology from experts. Moreover, there will be discussions to share our opinions, so we can all learn from each other!! And after our brain is full of so many new insights weβll go explore the city and do fun and creative activities for a good laugh like dick pimping! So, don't wait and apply!
