Dear Network,
EPM Barcelona ended more than a month ago, so it is time to start thinking about the European Planning Meeting (EPM) of 2021. By sending this, we invite you to submit topics for the thematic conference of the EPM.
What is the European Planning Meeting?
The European Planning Meeting is a statutory event, taking place once every year. The event consists of a thematic conference and action agenda drafting. The thematic conference of EPM 2021 will last up to 1 day and should support the drafting of the Action Agenda in the second half of the event, thus topics that give background knowledge or another perspective to the focus areas are encouraged.
What can I do?
You can submit EPM topic proposals, either individually or together with others. Anyone can submit topics but you will need to present the topic at the Agora or find someone else to present it for you. Proposals for EPM topics can be submitted by filling in this form. 👇🏼

The application deadline is Wednesday, 15th of April, 23:59 CET!
Furthermore, we encourage all the topic proposers to consider applying for Content Managers of the EPM in case your topic gets selected, in order to ensure the best possible implementation and the necessary preparatory work for the EPM.

Do you want to know how you can contribute in the transition towards a just and circular economy? Discover how different aspects of the circular economy are connected with themes like social equity, activism and entrepreneurship! Do you want to contribute to the strategic planning of AEGEE-Europe? Then this is the perfect event for you!
EPM (European Planning Meeting) consists of two parts - a thematic conference and the drafting of the Action Agenda. In the conference part, AEGEEans attend workshops, panels and presentations on a specific topic, this year the Circular Economy. In the drafting part, AEGEEans are able to contribute and create the Action Agenda - a yearly plan for the implementation of the Focus Areas in AEGEE.

Comité Directeur, jointly with the Local Organisers, the Content Manager and the Strategy Committee, have come to the decision to cancel the physical European Planning Meeting 2021 in Tartu.
Nevertheless, the European Planning Meeting 2021 will still happen and we are all working towards a great online event that will take place from 26th until 28th of February!
Since the change of the format and dates of this EPM can drastically change your availability, we are opening the Open Call for participants again! During the thematic conference, you will dive into a topic through workshops, panel discussions, case studies and other sessions, often given by experts from external organisations, politicians, entrepreneurs and also from knowledgeable AEGEEans. This year’s topic is Circular Economy: From Grassroots level to Policy Making.
During the Action Agenda drafting, a plan will be made describing what Actions AEGEE’s Working Groups and other bodies will do in the upcoming year for every Focus Area. We currently have the focus areas Climate Emergency, Mental Health, Political Activism and Social Equity.

You can still apply for the Secretary and Rapporteurs of the European Planning Meeting 2021!
The EPM 2021 will take place online, between the 26th and 28th of February. It will consist of drafting sessions and thematic workshops and debates which all should be remembered and documented.
The Secretary of the EPM will coordinate the proper course, minute-taking and documentation of the sessions, which should be done in collaboration with the Rapporteurs.
The Rapporteurs shall support the work of the Secretary of the EPM by reporting the main points of discussion and outcomes of the parallel slots. If enough people apply, you will only have to report a few of the sessions.
Please note that you do not have to be a participant of the EPM to take up any of these two positions.
