However, the risk โฃof being exposed to fake news and disinformation is also greater than ever. If so, how young people are going to tackle this problem which has the potential to disrupt โฃsocietyโs peace and divide it dramatically?
Within the framework of the PEGAP project -which aims to foster critical thinking and media literacy skills among young news consumers-, AEGEE-Europe has created a survey on young peopleโs experiences with the media, news, fake news and disinformation.

Even though it was not possible to proceed with the project as planned due to the outbreak of COVID-19, all the workshops were presented in another way - by preparing online stops with AEGEE locals! The project team has organised 25 online activities, two online workshops on "Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity" and "Intro to Mental Health" that involved 18 AEGEE locals.โ

Maybe Europe on Track ambassadors couldn't have the chance to catch a lot of trains this year, but they could still reach 416 people online from their homes talking about Mental Health and Gender Equality. โ

At Spring Agora 2020, we decided the topic for the EPM Tartu: โCircular Economy - from Grassroots Level to Policy Makingโ. We are issuing an OC for EPM Content Managers.
What does the EPM Content Manager do?
โ Developing the topic regarding the content of the conference;
โ Selecting speakers that can contribute to the discussion;
โ Documenting outcomes of the sessions during EPM;
โ Performing any other EPM-related tasks that may arise;
โ Ensuring smooth flow of the event together with StC and CD;
โ Providing organisational support during the whole event.
Who are we looking for?
โ Availability at least 6 hours a week from Sep 2020 to Mar 2021;
โ Ability to be present during the whole duration of the EPM;
โ Basic knowledge on the topic;
โ Experience in organising conferences;

What does the Fundraising Committee do?
As a member of the FRC, you will support AEGEE-Europe to find new partners and improve relationships, monitor grant requests, involve in steps of project writing, and assist locals with these aspects.

What is the Safe Person Committee?
The Safe Person Committee is a new committee dedicated to prevent, detect and react to sexual harassment in AEGEE. It aims to let AEGEE be a safe space for all its members and tackle sexual harassment in any form.
What does the Safe Person Committee do?
As a member of the Safe Person Committee, you will work on bringing Safe Person platform to the network. You will educate and raise awareness in the network on the necessity and knowledge of tackling sexual harassment.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for members who have motivation to start this committee and mainstream the practices in AEGEE. The Safe Person Committee should consist of member who has expertise in the topic of tackling sexual harassment and/or victim response through either:
โHaving attended an official AEGEE Safe Person Training
โProven their experience in the relevant field in or outside of AEGEE

The Gender Equality Interest Group creates a space for discussion and learning about issues regarding gender. We strive for equality within our network as well as outside of it, focusing on gender and taking into account other ways of discrimination from an intersectional perspective.
The Gender Equality Interest Group in past years has collaborated with the Summer University project, with AEGEE-locals and European Bodies, created Workshops and content to educate AEGEEans about gender-related issues.
What are your main tasks as a moderator?
โModerating the IG Facebook group, making sure it is active
โModerating the IG's public channels: the facebook page and instagram account
โCoordinating a core team: people that want to help out with creating new activities
โImplementing new ideas and initiatives in the group, coming either from yourself or other AEGEE members
