Key highlights: expanded support for Maxio SATA controllers (MAS0902, DM918, MAS1102, DM928) as well as extended initialization with ReadRetry for NVMe/USB SM2263XT and SM2320G. The improved MAS1102 support alone can turn previously unsolvable SATA SSDs into success cases.
Additionally, the new initialization for SM2263XT/SM2320G maximizes read quality – even on drives where most sectors were previously flagged with a black status (as BADs).

Large storage systems are usually built from several reasonably sized RAIDs. But sometimes all drives are combined into one massive array. The bigger the storage, the higher the chance of something unusual.
We handled a 96-drive stripe across three RAID-6 arrays with an uncommon XOR-RS distribution.
In such rare configurations, tools relying on fully automated modes often fail, yet complete manual analysis is not feasible. What helped here was the right tool and expert support from ACE Lab engineers. PC‑3000 with RAID Add-on let us identify required parameters and apply the same standard method we would use for a 16‑drive setup.
