Atropine
in high dose act as MUSCARINIC ANTAGONISTS
On GIT decrease GIT motility and secretion ___> used in Diarrhea
On respiratory it causes bronchodilator ___>used it in Asthma Pt
On arterial BP __>vasodilation
On the heart___>causes increase HR __>used it in
bradycardia

Atropine in low dose
Causes bradycardia because atropine in low dose act on Brain and inhibit presynaptic receptor __>increase in Ach concentration and causes bradycardia

Why Ach can’t used as drug directly?
1)not absorbed from GIT
2)not cross BBB
3)Altra short acting
4)non specific action (it act on nicotinic and muscurinic Receptor)
