In November, Jizzakh Alumni organized two impactful educational events focused on practical skills, innovation, and community development.

🩺 STEM for Safety: Everyday Science in Emergency Situations
On November 22, alumni took part in an interactive master class exploring how STEM knowledge supports effective first aid and emergency response. Through hands-on activities and real-life scenarios, participants gained a better understanding of the science behind emergency preparedness and safe response practices. The session was led by nurse Madina Mamadaliyeva from Jizzakh City Monomarkaz and helped strengthen participants’ confidence in responding to emergency situations within their communities.

📚 Future-Ready English Classrooms: Innovation, Technology, and Skills
On November 28, Jizzakh Alumni, in cooperation with Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, hosted a scientific-practical conference for English language teachers. The event focused on modern, student-centered teaching approaches, AI and digital tools, and the integration of 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, and critical thinking into classroom practice.

🌟 #RARinAction in Karakalpakstan!

On November 22, a workshop on business planning titled “One Village – One Product” was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The event was organized by the Regional Alumni Representative of Karakalpakstan, Gulsanem Allambergenova, in collaboration with C5+ONE program alumna Nurzada Atamuratova.

The workshop focused on practical approaches to developing a business plan built around local resources and community-based production. Participants explored how to structure business ideas, identify market potential, and position locally made products for wider visibility and sustainable growth.

📊 Through a hands-on workshop format, participants gained practical insights into branding, promotion, and the early steps of launching a small business, with a strong emphasis on turning local ideas into viable entrepreneurial initiatives.

✨ The event demonstrated how alumni-led programming can support entrepreneurship, strengthen local economies, and equip participants with concrete tools to move from ideas to action.

🌟 #RARinAction in Termez!

On November 22, an alumni-led event was held in Termez, bringing together 60 alumni, school and university students, and educators from across the region to strengthen networking skills and increase awareness of international academic and professional opportunities.

The sessions were led by alumni Irodabonu Saydullaeva and Zulfikar Djumaev, who shared practical insights on effective networking for career development, exchange and scholarship opportunities, and the value of global exposure. Participants were also introduced to the OPEN Program, including its structure, benefits, and impact on educators and participants.

A TechGirls alumna also shared her exchange experience, highlighting opportunities such as TechGirls and the Lumière Scholarship, and offering firsthand insights into academic life and travel experiences in the United States.

The strong level of engagement continued beyond the formal sessions, with participants actively seeking additional guidance and networking with speakers during informal discussions.

🌟The English Access Scholarship Program: Launch of a New Cycle Across Uzbekistan

Starting in November 2025, the Access Program launched its new cycle of activities, continuing to expand access to quality English language education for youth across Uzbekistan.

The program is currently implemented in 9 regions nationwide, including Altyaryk district (Fergana Region), Andijan city (Andijan Region), Turakurgan District (Namangan Region), Bukhara city and Gala Osiyo (Bukhara Region), Samarkand district (Samarkand Region), Termez city (Surkhandarya Region), Urgench and Yangibazar districts (Khorezm region), Shahrisabz district (Kashkadarya Region), as well as Khojeyli and Karauzyak districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Overall, the program is hosted by 12 local secondary schools.

After thorough recruitment process, 490 secondary school students aged 13–16 were selected to participate in the program. In addition to intensive English language instruction, the program fosters the development of essential 21st-century skills and computer literacy, equipping them with the tools necessary for future academic achievement and professional advancement. The program also incorporates cultural activities that introduce students to U.S. culture and help broaden their global perspectives.

The program is delivered by 47 qualified teachers, cultural activities are supported by English language Fellows in the regions. This collaborative model not only enhances students’ learning experiences but also provides teachers with valuable opportunities for professional growth and development.
