❤️‍🔥 De perfecte plek voor een actie tegen de fossiele subsidies kennen we, dat is de A12, ter hoogte van de Tweede Kamer, het Ministerie van EZ & Groene Leugens en VNO NCW, waar de fossiele lobby vertegenwoordigd is.

🌱 Daar vlakbij is een mooi groen veld en een parkje, het Malieveld. Dát is de perfecte plek voor een picknick en dat is dan ook waarom je daar steeds vaker, rond het middaguur, XR vlaggen zult zien. Afgelopen week zat er een gezellig groepje rebellen in het zonnetje te picknicken en ook komende zondag gaat er weer een groepje.

🌱 Nearby there is a beautiful green field and a small park, the Malieveld. That is the perfect place for a picnic and that is why you will see XR flags there more and more often, around noon. Last week a small group of rebels enjoyed a picnic in the sun and next Sunday there will be another group.

De klimaatcrisis, fascisme en de genocide in Palestina gaan NIET wachten tot de NAVO klaar is met vergaderen... En wij dus ook niet. Daarom blokkeren we op 25 juni om 12 uur de A12, voor de ogen van de wereldpers, en blijven we daar net zo lang zitten tot de regering al onze eisen heeft ingewilligd:

🤝 We trekken tijdens deze blokkade samen op met andere bewegingen, om samen een sterk & verenigd geluid te laten horen tegen extreemrechts, en voor rechtvaardigheid en mensenrechten. Dat geluid is nu harder nodig dan ooit tevoren!!

📣 De blokkade zal er iets anders uitzien dan gewoonlijk. Het is daarom belangrijk dat iedereen de volgende stappen volgt:

The climate crisis, fascism and the genocide in Palestine are NOT going to wait for NATO to finish their meeting... So neither will we. On June 25, at 12:00, we will block the A12, with the whole world watching, and we'll stay there until the government meets our demands:

We doen dat zoals altijd vastberaden, vreedzaam en samen met elkaar. Wij zijn niet meer te stoppen, het kapitalistische en fascistische systeem is dat wel.

✅ Zorg dat je een actietraining hebt gevolgd voordat je de A12 oploopt. Nog geen actietraining gevolgd? Er wordt er morgen om 10:00 een gegeven op het Malieveld (in het Engels)

Tomorrow is 25 June, and unfortunately there's STILL a genocide, fascism and fossil destruction going on... We'll therefore block the A12 at 12:00, to demand justice. We'll do that as always: resolute, peaceful and together. We are unstoppable, but the capitalist and fascist system is.

👉 Gisteren blokkeerden we de A12 om tijdens de “grootste veiligheidsoperatie ooit” onze eisen voor rechtvaardigheid ingewilligd te krijgen; stop de genocide, stop racisme en fascisme, stop fossiele vernietiging.

✅ De meest basale, de meest menselijke eisen waarmee logischerwijs een overgrote meerderheid van Nederland het eens is.

❤️ Dus stonden we er gisteren weer. Dapper, vastberaden en in solidariteit met getroffen gemeenschappen wereldwijd en in Nederland. Onze vreedzame demonstratie werd beantwoord met repressie en geweld. Meerdere vreedzame demonstranten zijn door de politie toegetakeld en verwond, waarbij agenten zelfs bij twee rebellen een arm hebben gebroken.
Dit is niet normaal.

☠️ Een staat die grondrechten van burgers schendt, het internationaal recht aan zijn laars lapt en burgers weigert te beschermen tegen de klimaatcatastrofe, dient niet gehoorzaamd maar bestreden te worden.

💚 We zijn al onze mede-rebellen en kamaraden van verschillende bewegingen die erbij waren intens dankbaar. We zijn geroerd door jullie tomeloze inzet. Neem de tijd voor een goede regeneratie, kom naar een debrief. Doe dit liefst lokaal, maar anders is er op aanstaande vrijdag 27 juni een landelijke debrief.

👉 Yesterday we blocked the A12 to get our demands for justice met during the “biggest security operation ever”; stop genocide, stop racism and fascism, stop fossil destruction.

✅ The most basic, the most human demands with which logically a vast majority of the Netherlands agrees.

❤️ So we stood there again yesterday. Bravely, resolutely and in solidarity with affected communities worldwide and in the Netherlands. Our peaceful demonstration was met with repression and violence. Several peaceful demonstrators were beaten and injured by police, with officers even breaking an arm in two rebels.
This is not normal.

☠️ A state that violates fundamental rights of citizens, flouts international law and refuses to protect citizens from climate catastrophe should not be obeyed but fought.

💚 We are intensely grateful to all our fellow rebels and comrades from different movements who were there. We are touched by your boundless commitment. Take the time for proper regeneration, come to a debrief. Preferably do so locally, but otherwise there will be a national debrief on this Friday, June 27.

👉 On Saturday 13 September, the Saturday before "Prinsjesdag" (when the Dutch government presents their plans for the coming year), at noon, we will block the A12!

🔥 Gigantic forest fires are raging in France. In the Global South, vulnerable communities are fighting for their survival. The world has passed 1.5 degrees of warming.

📢 Two weeks ago, the International Court of Justice was crystal clear: we have a DUTY to do everything we can to limit global warming, including abolishing fossil subsidies.
