👉 “Constaterende dat het kabinet de ambitie heeft uitgesproken fossiele subsidies in Europees verband af te willen bouwen;

👉 constaterende dat Nederland vorig jaar tijdens COP28 in Dubai een internationale coalitie heeft gelanceerd om fossiele subsidies af te bouwen;

👉 verzoekt de regering om zich ervoor in te zetten dat in de EU-positie voor COP29 een speerpunt gemaakt wordt van de ontwikkeling van een tijdgebonden afbouwend van fossiele subsidies en hier ook in EU verband, samen met andere lidstaten en de Europese Commissie, invulling aan te geven;

👉 verzoekt de regering in een brief aan de Kamer over de inzet voor de COP aan te geven hoe de minister dit oppakt;

👉 en gaat over tot de orde van de dag.”

👉 “Noting that the cabinet has expressed the ambition to phase out fossil subsidies in a European context;

👉 noting that the Netherlands launched an international coalition last year during COP28 in Dubai to phase out fossil subsidies;

👉 requests the government to commit to making the development of a time-bound reduction of fossil subsidies a priority in the EU position for COP29 and to also give substance to this in an EU context, together with other Member States and the European Commission;

👉 requests the government to indicate in a letter to the House how the Minister will address the efforts for the COP;

👉 and proceeds to the agenda.”
