Have you ever wondered why Elon Musk implemented the number of views in Twitter posts? Even if we think is a shit feature, if you compare how posts get just viewed compared to other social networks, Twitter generally offers better results at all.
Yes, we all know such feature from Telegram, YouTube, generally videos related on other socials, etc. In some socials this can be disabled, in other nope (like YouTube that almost removed all such options now). Some other socials allow hiding likes. But why implementing this even on Twitter. Even if you cannot see such stats as user, admins can see it on Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook, or whatever. And the results? Same identical posts published on multiple socials, get more views on Twitter. Remember that Facebook has specific rules to reduce visibility etc. Telegram instead doesn't own a suggestion feed at all, like we previously reported. And what about TikTok? TikTok is mostly overevaluated. People think that by posting it on TikTok they get viral. But this is not the fact. There are tons of accounts, even big brands or other, that don't get viral at all. Now we don't talk about that, but remember that TikTok is not magic like all people are telling you. We think this is related even to how you upload such videos (means which device you use), but currently we haven't demostrated it. But again, now we don't talk about TikTok.
Last point: remember that amount of views, likes or whatever doesn't say anything about the post, the quality, the truthfulness, the hidden goals behind such posts, and if people are really looking on that too. Most people just read and scroll, like we are doing too (obviously by archiving all at the same time), other instead prefer to waste their time with like/dislike, emoji, comments, etc. So again, amount of views don't express which type of user watched the post too.
