Dec 31st... Today's Russian missile attack is NOT the end of the year, no matter how much the terrorists want it. It's the outcome of Russia's fate.

2022 рік поранив нас у серце. Ми виплакали всі сльози. Прокричали всі молитви. 311 днів. Про кожну хвилину нам є що сказати. Але більшість слів – зайві. Не потрібні пояснення, прикраси. Потрібна тиша. Щоб почути. Потрібні паузи. Щоб усвідомити.

Ми не знаємо достеменно, що принесе нам новий, 2023-й, рік. Я хочу всім нам побажати одного – перемоги. І це головне. Одне побажання для всіх українців.

Нехай цей рік буде роком повернення. Повернення наших людей. Воїнів – до своїх родин. Полонених – до своїх домівок. Переселенців – до своєї України. Повернення наших земель. І тимчасово окуповані стануть назавжди вільними.

Повернення до звичайного життя. До щасливих хвилин без комендантської години. До земних радощів без повітряних тривог. Повернення того, що у нас вкрали. Дитинства наших дітей, спокійної старості наших батьків.

Нехай усе це принесе новий рік. Ми готові за це боротися. Ось чому кожен із нас тут. Я тут. Ми тут. Ви тут. Усі тут. Ми всі – це Україна.

2022 struck our hearts. We cried out all the tears. All the prayers were yelled. 311 days. We have something to say about every minute. But most words are superfluous. No explanation needed. Silence is needed to hear. Pauses are needed to realize

We don't know for sure what new 2023 will bring us. I want to wish all of us one thing – victory. And that's the main thing.

Let this year be the year of return. The return of our people. Soldiers – to their families. Prisoners – to their homes. Immigrants – to their Ukraine. The return of our lands. And the temporarily occupied will become forever free.

Return to normal life. To happy moments without curfew. To earthly joys without air alerts. The return of what has been stolen from us. The childhood of our children, the peaceful old age of our parents.

May the New Year bring all it. We're ready to fight for it. That's why each of us is here. I'm here. We're here. You're here. Everyone's here. We're all Ukraine.

Новий рік, новий день, нові підсумки. 45 «Шахедів» збито в першу ніч року. Дякую нашим Повітряним силам – льотчикам і зенітникам: 33 «Шахеди» на їхньому рахунку. Дякую протиповітряній обороні наших Сухопутних військ – за ще 12 збитих іранських дронів. Молодці, хлопці!

Російські терористи як були жалюгідними, такими і зайшли в цей рік. Наше з вами відчуття єдності, справжності, самого життя – це все так контрастує зі страхом, який запанував у Росії.
Вони бояться. Це відчувається. І правильно бояться. Бо вони програють. Дрони, ракети, усе інше їм не допоможуть. Бо ми разом. А вони хіба що разом зі страхом.

Дуже важливо, як усі українці цієї новорічної ночі підживили внутрішню енергію. Як ми дякували нашим воїнам. Як ми дякували близьким. І як мільйони разів по всій Україні, по всьому вільному світу звучало і звучить досі наше з вами побажання – побажання перемоги.
Зробимо все, щоб так і було!

Слава всім нашим воїнам! Слава кожному і кожній, хто працює на перемогу України! Слава Україні!

New year, new day, new summaries. 45 "Shaheds" were shot down on the first night of the year. I thank our Air Forces - pilots, anti-aircraft warriors. 33 "Shaheds" are on their account. Gratitude to the air defense of our Ground Forces for another 12 downed Iranian drones. Well done, guys!

Russian terrorists were pathetic, and they entered this year staying the same. Our sense of unity, authenticity, life itself - all this contrasts dramatically with the fear that prevails in Russia.
They are afraid. You can feel it. And they are right to be afraid. Because they are losing. Drones, missiles, anything else will not help them. Because we are together. And they are together only with fear.

And it is very important how all Ukrainians recharged their inner energy this New Year's Eve. And how we thanked our warriors. How we thanked our loved ones. How millions of times all over Ukraine, all over the free world, our wish - the wish of victory - has sounded and still sounds. We will do everything to make it so!

Glory to all our warriors! Glory to each and everyone who works for the victory of Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine!

Радий почати рік із розмови з Президентом Європейської комісії Урсулою фон дер Ляєн. Подякував за неослабну підтримку з боку ЄС. Чекаємо першого траншу макрофіну вже в січні, першої партії енергоощадних ламп, шкільні автобуси, генератори й модульні будинки. Скоординували кроки щодо Саміту Україна – ЄС. Відчуваємо підтримку та прямуємо до перемоги разом.

I am glad to start the year with a phone call with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. I expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of the EU. We are waiting for the first tranche of macro-financial aid in January, the first batch of energy-saving lamps, school buses, generators and modular houses. We have coordinated steps on the EU-Ukraine Summit. We feel support and are moving towards victory together.

Від початку року минуло лише два дні, а рахунок збитих іранських дронів над Україною – вже більше вісімдесяти. 

Найближчим часом ця кількість може зрости.
Ми маємо інформацію, що Росія планує тривалу атаку «Шахедами». Її ставка може бути на виснаження. На виснаження наших людей, нашої ППО, нашої енергетики. Але маємо зробити – і зробимо все, – щоб і ця мета терористів зазнала провалу, як і всі інші.

Хочу сьогодні відзначити за успішний захист неба цими днями Повітряні командування «Центр», «Південь» та «Схід». А особливо – бійців 96-ї Київської, 208-ї Херсонської і 138-ї Дніпровської зенітних ракетних бригад, 301-го Нікопольського зенітного ракетного полку Повітряних сил, а також воїнів 39-го зенітного ракетного полку Сухопутних військ.
Дякую, звичайно, пілотам наших винищувачів та бійцям мобільних вогневих груп.

Дякую всім, хто чергуватиме цієї ночі на бойових постах! Дякую всім, хто воює за Україну!

We have information that Russia is planning a prolonged attack with "Shaheds". Its bet may be on exhaustion of our people, air defense, energy sector. But we must ensure that this goal of terrorists fails like all the others.
 
Today, I want to mention the Air Commands "Center", "South" and "East" for the successful protection of the sky these days. Especially the 96th Kyiv, 208th Kherson and 138th Dnipro anti-aircraft missile brigades, the 301st Nikopol anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Air Forces, the 39th anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Ground Forces.
 
Of course, I’m grateful to the pilots of our fighter jets and warriors of mobile firing groups.
