On this day, 32 years ago, the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine was endorsed. The Declaration restored the tradition of Ukrainian state-establishing, and it was on its basis that the Act of Declaration of Independence of Ukraine was later adopted. And today, when our people are fighting for independence, we have our right in every sense of the word – historically, politically, culturally and, what is very important – legally. In particular, our people's confidence in victory is based on this.
We will stand. We will win. We will win back our, rebuild our lives. We will do it together – that's the only way it can be done. This can be done only without mutual competition. This is our obligation to all generations of our people who fought for our freedom and sovereignty of Ukraine.

Це війна в Україні, яку розпочала Росія, яку продовжує Росія і яку Росія не хоче припиняти. Україна ж боронить власну землю, свій суверенітет, свою територію. Україна воює за мир. Ось такий жорстокий парадокс ХХІ століття, а для нас це – реалії.

Я ухвалив рішення про відсторонення від посади Генерального прокурора та про усунення голови Служби безпеки України.
Станом на сьогодні зареєстровано 651 кримінальне провадження щодо державної зради та колабораційної діяльності працівників органів прокуратури, органів досудового розслідування, інших правоохоронних органів. У 198 кримінальних провадженнях відповідним особам повідомлено про підозру.
Зокрема, понад 60 працівників органів прокуратури та СБУ залишилися на окупованій території та працюють проти нашої держави.
Такий масив злочинів проти основ національної безпеки держави та зв’язки, які зафіксовані між працівниками силових структур України та спецслужбами Росії, ставлять дуже серйозні запитання до відповідних керівників. Кожне з таких питань отримає належну відповідь.

I made a decision to remove the Prosecutor General from office and to dismiss the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
As of today, 651 criminal proceedings have been registered regarding treason and collaboration activities of employees of prosecutor's offices, pretrial investigation bodies, and other law enforcement agencies. In 198 criminal proceedings, relevant persons were notified of suspicion.
In particular, more than 60 employees of the prosecutor's office and the Security Service of Ukraine remained in the occupied territory and are working against our state.
Such an array of crimes against the foundations of the national security of the state and the connections detected between the employees of the security forces of Ukraine and the special services of Russia pose very serious questions to the relevant leadership. Each of these questions will receive a proper answer.

Уже понад три тисячі крилатих ракет застосувала Росія проти України. Неможливо порахувати кількість артилерійських та інших снарядів, які були використані проти нашої країни та наших людей. Але точно можливо притягнути до відповідальності всіх російських воєнних злочинців. Кожного з колаборантів. Усіх, хто відповідальний за терор. За все, що відбувається 145 днів і більш як вісім років. Це буде зроблено.
