Dear Friends,
Flower Crosswords are distinguished by their Rules, Clues & Goals:
____________________________ Words in a flower ____________________________
1. are filtered out of a School Dictionary,
2. are of the same length (3,4,5 or 6-letter long),
3. go clockwise @ CCW, from petals tips toward Flower's hearts,
4. are controlled by a Single letter forming an Outstanding Wheels.
______________________ A flower can be made Cluless if ______________________
1. only the vowels (A,E,I,O,U) are given/taken away, or
2. one or more letter-wheels is given/taken away, or
3. a list of the CW and/or the CCW words is given.

Out of a single 16-petal Flower Crossword, 32 Flower Crosswords can be made simply by CW@CCW rotating it one petal 16 times, thus helping teachers to test classrooms of up to 32 learners without allowing them to copy from one another.
____________________ Flowers are set with these Goals ____________________
1. Multiplying ones vocabulary with less effort and time by exploiting their Word-Doubling property: If less than half of the clues is answered, the crossword is done.
2. Building error-free spelling with the help of the error-detecting & correcting letter-wheels. Example: BOOK can not be BOKE to go in line with the K-wheel?
3. Emphasizing narrowly distinguished tones & subsequently
4. Strengthening Tongue-Twisting with the help of keywords. Hold the K-Flower for example & go on twisting@turning@singing a song with the 4-letter K-words.
5. Developing memory efficiency & intelligence by attacking words from different positions: If FISH is attacked 3 times (in F,S@H flowers), won't it be fully digested?
6. Encouraging communication in English through an integrated approach where grammar skills are not formally taught but naturally assimilated through constant practice of the language.
7. More to be discovered.

Flowers looking for flowers *
Flowers come, flowers fly away

Bees alight on flowers *
Goats come, Bees fly away

* That's right: Arabic fonts fly high petal-like letters, especially (H), whereas Latin fonts fly the Cross T.me/FlowerCrosswords/68
So, why exchanging the Cross? Why not exchanging Flowers?

All the Best for All with Flowers T.me/FlowerCrosswords/40
The winner of the above contest is Ms Nor Khadijah @Khadijah72 from Malaysia - Pulau Pinang T.me/FonJawi/400 .
Translating her answer into English: The five differences are:
1. The first line reads "Assalammualaikum" while the 2nd line reads "Wa Alaikum Assalammu"
2. The first line has marks while the second line is free of marks.
3. The letterform of "K" in the first line has an addition at its beginning not seen in the 2nd line.
4. "LA = Lam @ Alif" in the 1st line has an addition at the beginning of "Alif" not seen in the 2nd line.
5. Letterforms in the first line are shorter than the letterforms in the 2nd line.
👆Why not?! T.me/FonJawi/465 @ T.me/FonJawi/119
Compared to Latin, Jawi is smarter, easier @ more attractive?!
Latin letters = 34 standalone shapes = 26 (A-Z) @ 8 small (abdeghqr)
Jawi letters - Dots = only (19) sweet @ dancing shapes.
———————————— Moreover, ————————————
Unlike Latin, Jawi letters love to go hand in hand @ shoulder to shoulder as elaborated here T.me/FonJawi/5
Emphasizing: Arabic, Malay @ Indonesian languages are phonetic.
They love exchanging Flowers, not Crosswords! T.me/FonJawi/23
—————————————— So, ———————————————
1. When @ why was the Jawi script replaced with Latin?
2. How was that decision justified?

Many thanks @BondaNoorAzimah for sharing calligraphy.

Comparing Latin with Arabic Calligraphy:

1. Latin = 34 standalone nearly dot-less letter-forms. Elaborating:
34 letter-forms = 26 big (A-Z) @ 8 small (abdeghqr) not taking into account the differences of the other 18.
Calligraphy is done by adding tails to different 2x26 letters to make them cursive?

2. Arabic - Dots = 19 dancing letter-forms that go hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder and love to overlap T.me/FonJawi/5 .
Calligraphy is done by changing tails of cursive 19 letter-forms then dotting some?

So, which calligraphy is smoother on-the-hand, easier on-the-eye and more attractive? T.me/FlowerCrosswords/95
That's right : Arabic calligraphy. Being flowery and dynamic, dot-less letters are written first then cute dots & marks are added wherever necessary.

Happy Exploring and Comparing with Flowers.
